This year the Holidays are particularly special because we are hosting them in our home and what better way to make sure everyones glass is full than having a bar on wheels – a bart cart.
A while a ago I posted a picture of this bar cart on Instagram that I found at a consignment store. It needed a lot of TLC, actually…. it still does. With all the projects and organizing that I’ve been doing, this cart took a back seat and never got the attention that it needed.
I decided, what the heck, it’s still pretty with all of its flaws and at this point who knows when I’ll get to restoring it.
Now that you know its history lets get to the fun part! How I styled it.
We have place where we keep all of the cocktails glasses so I didn’t need to store them on the cart , instead I opted for cocktail tools and garnishes. As you probably know by now, I love making things pretty and my drinks are no different.
The rock candy and water bottles are from our wedding, yes, it was pink themed. These are the only 2 water bottles that I have left and I’m just using them for decoration.
BTW the rock candy makes a great addition to any cocktail made with cotton candy vodka or cake vodka 🙂
On the bottom I keep all the liquor bottles and mixers. The two carafes are form Homegoods.
I know you’re probably tired of hearing how much I love this Alice and Olivia Starbucks Mug (holding the straws) that was released recently but she’s so pretty. I knew I had to incorporate her in the bar cart styling so I filled her with pretty paper straws. I purchase my paper straws from Homegoods and Marshall’s.
I recently picked up this “Cheers” Pitcher from Target, I like the fact that I can keep it on the bar cart year around because it’s not necessarily just for the holidays. My Target had a few of them so you might still find them, they also had matching tumblers.
The adorable Christmas themed stirrers area also from Homegoods.
This is what the cart looks like at night with the tree lights on. I can’t wait to put this baby to use.
Other Items Shown:

Polk a dot glass shaker – Homegoods
I heart NY Chocolate Bars – FAO Schwarz NY

Hope this post inspires you to create your own holiday cocktail station. If you take any photos on Instagram use #fromapurplechair I would love to see it 🙂
