Crispy Honey Oat Chicken & Strawberry Salad + Special Jessie Steele Apron Giveaway!

Hi guys! So this months food post I decided to share my all time favorite salad. Strawberry spinach salad with a delicious honey oat chicken drizzled with an asian inspired homemade dressing. Summer food is the best with all the fresh yummy fruit available, so I try to incorporate it into my dishes whenever possible. Hope ya don’t mind!

Salad Dressing
What you will need:
-2T minced red onion
-1/2C extra virgin olive oil
-1/2C red wine vinegar
-1/4C agave or 1/2 sugar
-1/4t paprika
-2T toasted sesame seeds
-1 Mason Jar

Directions: Combine all ingredients in mason jar, give a good shake and let refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Honey Oat Chicken
What you will need:
-2 chicken breast
-1C of crushed Honey Bunches Of Oats
-Salt, Pepper & Paprika to taste
-2 Eggs
-1C Flour
-1/4C Water

Directions: Preheat oven to 375° F
Cut your chicken into strips and season to taste with salt, pepper and paprika. Add salt pepper and paprika to taste to your flour. Whisk water and eggs together. Dip chicken strips in flour mixture, then egg mixture, then coat with honey oats. Bake for 13-15 minutes until golden.

Salad
What you will need:
-Spinach
-Mixed Greens
-Red Onion
-Strawberries
-Candied Pecans
-Fetta Cheese

Directions: Toss all ingredients with salad dressing and top with chicken.
