The Paris Palette by Sigma – Limited Edition

Hi loves! If you follow me on Instagram then you have already seen photos of this beautiful Paris Palette.

I’m not generally a fan of ‘multipurpose palettes’ because I feel when palettes incorporate too many products it compromises the over all quality. It’s possible that a past experience with another of its kind has tarnished my opinions…who knows…

Whatever the reason for my displeasure is irrelevant now because there is still hope thanks to this beautifully designed palette.

This Sigma Paris Palette comes with:

-E55 Shading Brush
-F40 Angled Brush (My favorite for applying blush)
-8 Highly Pigmented Shadows
-2 Blushes – 1 Rosy and 1 Peachy
-1 Highlight

What I’m most impressed with is the pigmentation. I found the colors easy to work with, even the darkest shades were easy to blend.

The first half of the shadows are your bolder more intense shades. Is anyone else as mesmerized as I am by the sapphire blue shade?! That was the first color I used, of course 🙂

The second half has your softer more day time appropriate shades. They almost remind me of a mermaid, I’m not sure why.

You will find the 2 matte blush shades and highlighter at the bottom of the palette. This is what I believe sets this palette apart. These blush shades are perfect imho, one has a pinky undertone and the other is peachy and neither is too bright and best of all they are shimmer free.

I think that is the root of my previous distaste for these type of palettes, in my past experiences the blushes are never a shade that I actually want to wear. I can tell that a lot of thought went into selecting these shades and they are something that I would buy individually.

When you take into account the cost of each shadow, blushes and brushes, this palette is valued at $114 and some change.
It retails for $59
It is currently on sale for $49
On top of it you can use the code “SPRING2014″ for an additional 10% off
Bringing your total down to $44.10 (before taxes and shipping)

Here is a look that I created using this palette 🙂
